摘要:
目前外周动脉疾病(PAD)已成为全球重要的疾病负担和医疗挑战。值得注意的是PAD与冠心病(CAD)均是以动脉粥样硬化为共同基本病理特征的系统性血管疾病。临床上PAD与CAD均具有相似的疾病危险因素,且PAD患者常合并CAD,进而导致与心血管事件风险增加直接相关。PAD患者当前标准治疗下,残余心血管风险仍较高。但目前公众对PAD的认知度与对其他血管疾病如冠状动脉疾病和卒中的认知度相比是欠缺的。因此,在临床工作中对PAD的筛查,并选择基于风险因素的个体化治疗,将会助力对患者的预防、治疗、康复全周期管理。
Abstract:
Peripheral artery disease (PAD) is known to potentially cause a global burden and important medical challenge worldwide now. It is noteworthy that both PAD and coronary artery heart disease (CAD) are systemic vascular diseases with common basic pathological features of atherosclerosis. Clinically, PAD shares common cardiovascular risk factors with CAD, and PAD patients are often presenting with CAD, which is directly related to the increased risk of cardiovascular events. Patients with PAD have a heightened risk of cardiovascular morbidity and mortality,being unfortunately often under-recognized and under-treated. However,compared to other vascular diseases such as coronary artery heart disease and stroke, current public awareness of PAD is poor. Therefore, the screening of PAD and the selection of individualized treatment based on risk factors will facilitate the whole-cycle management of prevention, treatment and rehabilitation of patients in clinical work.
