摘要:
研究显示,升高的静息心率与心血管事件发生率增加和远期生存率降低密切相关,每个心动周期动脉内的血流都会对血管壁产生一定的机械应力,这种机械应力可能损害血管内皮细胞功能,而血管内皮细胞功能障碍恰恰是动脉粥样硬化形成的先决条件。由此推断,减慢心率可保护血管内皮功能,进而延缓动脉粥样硬化进展,其可能机制是通过改变机械应力、降低组织疲劳和延长稳定层流时相获得持久切应力实现的。现就静息心率对血管内皮细胞功能的影响及其机制做一综述。
Abstract:
Numerous studies demonstrate that an increased resting heart rate is associated with the onset of cardiovascular events and reduces lifespan in humans. Each cardiac cycle imposes a mechanical constraint on the arteries, and this mechanical stress damages the vascular endothelium, its dysfunction being the prerequisite for atherogenesis. Consequently, reducing heart rate could protect the endothelium and slow the onset of atherosclerosis. By extrapolating, the potential mechanisms by which reducing heart rate could be beneficial to the endothelium are likely a combination of a reduction in mechanical stress and tissue fatigue and a prolongation of the period of steady laminar flow, and thus sustained shear stress. This article examines the mechanism of resting heart rate effects on vascular endothelium cell function.
