Abstract:
Physical activity has long been considered as the effective treatment for the prevention and improvement in prognosis of cardiovascular disease. Currently,moderate-intensity continuous training is the most popular exercise treatment recommended by guidelines. In recent years, increasing evidences support that high -intensity interval training(HITT) can improve cardiopulmonary function and vascular endothelial function, and HIIT is more efficient and acceptable. Thus,HITT may become a new exercise prescription for cardiovascular disease. Combining with domestic and foreign literatures, this article reviews the application progress of HITT in prevention and management of cardiovascular disease
