Abstract:
Socioeconomic status is one complicated social phenomenon, which has been identified as an important risk factor of cardiovascular diseases widely. It is composed of educational attainment, household income and occupational status. Educational attainment is one of the best indicators of socioeconomic status. It is suggested that higher educational attainment is associated with lower cardiovascular risk and better prognosis. This review aimed to summarize relevant researches to explore the relationship between educational attainment and cardiovascular metabolic disorders thus improving the emphasis on education and providing new insights to relieve the burden of cardiovascular metabolic diseases
